An Auction to Honor the Producers

An Auction to Honor the Producers

Recognizing the hands behind exceptional coffee.

This auction exists to celebrate the producers of the Pachamama and their Friends around 70 smallholders from Miguel Grau, Perene, Chanchamayo and Satipo in Junin; and from Oxapampa, Pasco, all from the central highlands forest of Peru. Farming at 1,400 – 1,800meters, they craft distinctive coffees with ecological responsibility, skill, and a deep respect for the Andean landscape.

Featuring past Cup of Excellence winners, this auction elevates producer recognition—putting names front and center, stories in focus, and quality on a transparent, premium stage.

Who's behind the project

From Grano de Oro to Satinaki: the partnership behind the auction

The cooperative once known as Asociacion Grano de Oro began its quality journey in 2015, emphasizing ecology, training, reliable delivery, and fair pay. To support that growth across the community, a new umbrella group was formed: Cooperativa Agraria Cafetalera Industrial Satinaki (CACI SATINAKI)—"Satinaki" from Ashaninka, meaning "the river that crosses the depths of the mountains in the jungle."

Within this framework, Pachamama brings together producers from CACI Satinaki, CAC La Florida, CAC ACPC, (Perene, Chanchamayo); CAC Satipo (Satipo); and from Oxapampa (Pasco), all from the central high forest lands of Peru. Farming at 1,400 – 1,800 meters. Partnering with Murnauer Coffee Roasters and Rigano Caffe (Germany) and hosted on V-Auction, the 2025 auction highlights these producers—including past Cup of Excellence winners—placing their names front and center, telling their stories, and rewarding quality with transparent, premium pricing.

The responsibility for the competence and auction in Peru is being done by Allpa Ruru.
