Portocarrero

Héctor Benito Portocarrero Pérez

R1

The Portocarrero farm was born on the Peruvian highlands, inspired by the family tradition and love for the land. Since its inception each coffee bean is cultivated with effort, respect of nature and passion for quality.

This begun in 2002 with a total of 5 hectares at 1,850 meters height, producing on 4 hectares the first coffee beans with unique fragrance. After all the sacrifice, the yellow leaf spot disease arrived, attacking our crops. In 2010 we met an Engineer that made us cultivate the Geisha variety obtaining good results in cup, quality, unique fragrance and flavors making us win several coffee contests.

Portocarrrero farm is more than a farm, it is my legacy that uniting tradition and innovation to bring the authentic flavor of Peruvian coffee to the world. And is the place where we live together with my wife and children.
